Wow! Just discovering this club. I'm in! Actually, I wanted Cactus Grey, but didn't want to pay $5K more. I let my hubby choose this color so he feels more like a stakeholder in "my" Bronco!. We're in the 1/3 Build Week, so hopefully coming soon.

Every picture I see of EG I like it more and more. So happy I switched to it.
I couldn’t agree more. And to think I was looking to get antimatter blue on a 2021. I’m so glad I dragged my heels on putting in my order. Once I saw the green, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind about choosing it. Funny to think how we haven’t seen it in person yet it has been our chosen color. Photos just look so damn good.

Day-one reservation. Finally got built (12/26), one of the first MY22 off the line. The silver lining of not wanting to compromise my build and being punted to MY22 is the fact that I now have an EG Badlands on its way! Happy to be part of this group.

Funny thing is I was so dead set on Cactus Grey. I think 80% of the bronco sport and ranger's I've seen have been cactus grey and I'm over the color. Waiting for '22 to get a Mansquatch and EG has proved well worth it.

Following @Prest33 ’s lead, I also bought paint touch up cans and painted my Maisto model EG - in my case, mostly so I could reassure myself that the gold flop wasn’t as offensively “surprise, this whole thing is Yellow-green-:poop: colored” as it looked like it might become in some photos.

i can now say with certainty that is is not. This color is amazing in person. Like others have said, it’s somewhere on the metallic side of the mallard green/British racing green family in sun and shade, and then it’s almost a metallic olive green under artificial lights. Overall, not too light, and not too dark. I don’t feel nearly as bad about missing out on AMB now. And much like AMB, this color doesn’t photograph well AT ALL… believe me, I tried. but I think you guys will be very happy with your choice once you see it in person.

So, I've ordered an OBX in Cyber Yellow with Roast Leather, but I'm thinking very hard about switching to EG. I'm very new to this kind of vehicle - is it possible to to get an aftermarket top in brown, or for an upholsterer to replace the fabric on the soft top?
