I ordered a 4-dr Badlands in July 21. I sold my car ahead of heading overseas for 18 months to do the Lord’s work for the Navy.

With that being said, I am trying to gauge whether or not it will be completed by the time I return stateside in August 2023. What’s the community’s consensus here?
Basically, I don’t want to be stuck without having a car. Above all else, my detailer has double detailed me for Colorado next! *Fist Bump!* At that point, The Bronco > House Hold Goods, especially for a tour in Colorado lol!
Appreciate your input in advance!

Unless you ordered the modular hard top I can't see the wait being anywhere near that long. Could end up being built sometime in 2022. Never know.

And thank you for your service

Thank you! But quick disclaimer - I have ordered a Badlands w/ MIC hardtop. I still don't see it lasting until 2023, though.

hey, thank you so much!! I greatly appreciate the support. I’ll still be lurking on the forums to keep my eye on the prize and to keep me motivated.

But I appreciate the kind words!

I agree with the others, that 2022 seems likely. I hope you have an action plan for securing your vehicle from the dealer if you're afloat when it arrives. There must be a military way to do this with Ford and USAA.

Worst case scenario is it's not ready. The redesigned 4Runner will be out by then. You'll get a better vehicle that will last much longer than the Bronco.

Try to order your Bronco thu AAFES. Since you are overseas. I would also get a quote from Granger or another dealer offering below invoice. Explain to them that you need a legitimate quote for your purchase and AAFES will match their pricing plus an additional $500 off per the overseas car sales policy.

Good luck and stay safe.
