I’m having a hard time thinking that Maxwell Ford in Austin has this whole Bronco ordering fiasco under control.
I received clouded information over a few phone calls. I decided to visit in person and another member said that what I was told over the phone was incorrect.
I’m being told that I am #284 out of 600 reservations made at the Ford Maxwell Dealership on the “motor mile”.
Couldn’t tell me when I would be called but that when called in, that I would need to be prepared to pay $2500 dollars to solidify my order.
Is anyone else receiving this type of info?
The members reasoning was that dealerships may be faking reservations that would get more Broncos to the dealership so that they could mark the prices up.
Being a serious buyer, I don’t have a problem paying the $2500. I just want to make sure that this is legitimate and that the $2500 would go towards the price of the Bronco.

Any deposit you pay should be noted somehow. My deposit was listed in a purchase order along with TT&L, giving me an "out the door" price.

Bump! I asked my dealer contact what "place" in line I am, and I was told I'm Lucky #164.

Anyone here get their Bronco from Maxwell yet? Wondering if I can transfer my order to another dealer.

I ordered (and received) my Bronco from Maxwell in Austin. I only paid the $100 reservation, and then $500 down. Both amounts were credited to my final purchase price. I also received DORAs for each build with pricing and a number of texts/email assuring MSRP (which is what I paid when picking up).

I could not be happier with Maxwell throughout the process. Their Bronco specialist Christine is out of this world and herself a Bronco nut. She traded in her JK to get the Cyber Orange Bronco you see parked near parts, and was part of the dirt mountain hold group. The Bronco flag on their showroom mannequin...that is her personal swag flag from Ford.

While Christine can not make miracles happen, she is pretty good at watching builds that are picked and in touch with commodity issues to help you speed up the likelihood of your build getting picked quicker. I have seen a number of good comments about Christine in the CnTX Bronco Club from this forum, and the Texas posts under regional. If you are unsure about any info, talk to Christine.
