I hate to complain considering I supposedly have a Bronco built and shipped, however, I am getting very frustrated. My Bronco was shipped by rail and offloaded 3 hours from my local dealership where it has set for two weeks. My delivery date has been updated/delayed three times and is now 12/13/2021. So we are looking at 3 weeks to travel 3 hours. Like I said, I hate to complain, but Ford's delivery is proving to be as much of a fiasco as the rest of this process was. I sure hope it was worth the wait.

What's the holdup? Why has it been sitting for weeks collecting dust, when it could've been in your driveway already? šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I am sorry to hear that. Hang in there! It’s well worth it! Mine sat at the yard for a week.

Good ole supply chain, dealer told me there is a shortage of car carriers...heck, I would gladly have picked it up myself if they would let me.

It’s a disaster. Mine was delivered damaged and no one including Ford has said a peep for the past 7 days. Impossible to get a hold of anyone and the dealership owner doesn’t have any information. I tweeted at Mike Levine and Said Deep and barely gotten anywhere. My Bronco is in purgatory until they either fix it and sell it to me or make me get back in line. I may need help amplifying my tweets to Mike Levine on Twitter. I hope I can count on some you on this forum to help me get attention on this so I can at least understand when I’m actually going to get my built and delivered albeit damaged Bronco.

I work for a manufacturer and I have truckloads of product shipping to my customers daily. The shortage of drivers is real. It’s brutal, hang in there.
Not trying to sound like a dick or ruffle your feathers. But if your manufacturer can't simply deliver goods, then doesn't that hurt their bottom line? If so, then why don't they hire more truck drivers? Make them an offer they can't refuse. No unemployment check can keep up with $60+ an hour. I'm trying to rent a forklift right now, it's $275 to deliver, $275 to pick it up. But I only need it an hour, so I can avoid the pickup fee by having the delivery driver sit in the parking lot. The company told me I would have to pay his standard rate which was $117.80 an hour. Totally blown away. I bet they have no issue holding on to drivers. I know that's equal to pay benefits and taxes but still

I’m not a Ford homer. My last two vehicles were a wrangler and 4Runner (now). But have you guys been on any company’s car lots lately? Empty. And the demand for the new Bronco amplifies the problem. It’s not Ford, it’s the supply-chain of COVID.

It’s frustrating, but point the frustration in the right direction.

There truly just aren’t enough drivers right now. Despite the huge pay increases, a lot of companies are losing drivers to insane pay offers (due to lack of drivers), Amazon, you name it.. my husband was asked to drive a truck to deliver from their warehouse three hours away to another market simply because they were short 8 drivers a few weeks back… he’s on the sales side, definitely not part of his job. And you’re right, it does hurt these business owners bottom line.. higher paid drivers means, higher costs and loss of profits, but a lot or businesses are just trying to keep their doors open despite losing margins. If only it were as simple as hiring more drivers. Sadly, it’s the world we’re in right now. Also, I’m sure I just jinxed my own bronco delivery šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

Mine took 4 weeks to get delivered from the destination rail head to my dealer. It was an agonizing wait. I tried everything I could to get them to go get it, even offered to pay for a flatbed tow truck to make the 4 hour round trip...

Hang in there, the frustration melts away when you finally get your hands on those keys.
