The trail sights line up with the inside edge of your front tires. So your tire is outside the "sight".

Along the front of the hoods, on both sides, are odd plastic Things sticking up.
Do they have a use?
Extra seating with these used as hold on bars😀

They are conversation starters.
It’s the first thing people ask me when looking at the Bronco.
I dislike explaining what they are, as most people think they’re dumb and the Bronco has so many more interesting less obvious things we could talk about.

Thanks everyone, for the entertaining, and also truthful responses.
I'm just not used to seeing them on vehicles is all.
So it got me wondering just as to why Ford included them.
lots of off road vehicles have them, but they are not Always set up.

Ever see an old Gen 1 Bronco ? I saw an old ad or something that had a canoe tied to roof and front tie downs went on the things they call trail sights now. That's why they have a hole in them.
Also at camp you can tie off stuff.
You can take them off .

They are by far the Bronco’s best feature.

I was told by the dealer or someplace that where the trail sights are is the inside of the front tire making it easier to navigate obstacles
