I can’t figure out which of the Twisted Shifters knobs will work with the Bronco.

Their description with the adapter say that most knobs will work, but they also say each knob will indicate if it works with the Bronco (ie.-just a couple of the cue ball designs).

Does anyone know if the majority of their knobs will work, or not?

Thanks.

I emailed Twisted inquiring on the closest color green that would match the Eruption Green. They responded with a few greens, that were not listed on their "Bronco" list online. I got the impression that they could make any of them work for the Bronco. Just have to ask.

Twisted's response:
Probably closest is metallic green https://www.twistedshifterz.com/collections/solid-color/products/metallic-emerald-green-shift-knob

Plain green no metallic https://www.twistedshifterz.com/collections/solid-color/products/solid-green-shift-knob

Or, glitter green https://www.twistedshifterz.com/collections/glitter/products/green-glitter-shift-knob

And Pearl green https://www.twistedshifterz.com/collections/pearl/products/pearl-green-shift-knob

All can have the Bronco pattern in one of a few fill colors.

Let us know what you would like and we can invoice by email for the order.

Thank you,

Honestly not bad, it blends very well giving an OEM look. There is a slight increase in overall height and with the reverse lockout but its not a bother to me. I don’t think it stands out much at all. Added another pic for reference

Apologies for ignorant questions....
I don't see that blue on their site. Custom order? Which blue is that? I may have missed details above, adapter needed?

Bloominguez- You need to choose the one that says “build yours here!” . Under that, you can choose the color.

Love the shift knob, looks and feels great.

The adapter kit, not so much. Should take advantage of the geometry to prevent rotation, not just rely on a tiny set screw. Really had to tighten the crap out of things to prevent rotation.

I got Metallic Blue, works great with the blue Bronco interior.

Also, because the adapter adds a small bit very significant of amount of height I wanted to make the knob as low as possible, which means that my shift pattern is not lined up properly. Would have to rotate it back (higher) 3/4 of a turn to line it up properly.

Overall I love the look and feel, but the adapter issues (not taking advantage of geometry and additional height) hold it back.

Picture of the Metallic Blue knob (rotated so that the pattern is in the right position, but the knob was a bit higher).

Picture of the shaft, with notch that the stock shift knob uses for alignment & preventing rotation. This is what the Twisted Shifterz Bronco adapter does *not* take advantage of.

What orientation is your set screw at for the adapter? I can not get mine to tighten enough where it doesn't just pop off from the spring

Did you put the top screw back in? The one that came with the original shifter? That has to be in and it holds the adaptor down in place to keep it from frying off the spring. The set screw is just to keep it from turning. I love mine.

Though I love my Twisted knob as soon as AR (EightLug) gets there’s out on the market I’m sure I will make the switch. I have everything else they make in this Bronco so what’s one one mortgage payment?! Lol.
