I agree! It’s the only OEM grille that has a pronounced brow around the edge, with recessed grille surface and more original grille pattern.
Yes Base is the most retro. I really dislike the Big Bend/OBX grill. My OCD can't stand seeing all the different things behind the grill. I do love my piano black Wildtrak grill - I didn't think I would, but it pops well against 2021 cactus gray with piano black mirrors, badges, and beauty rings and color coded handles. It's not as retro as I first thought I wanted but I love the look.

I am severely disappointed in the after market grill game. I thought by now we would have a ton of great choices and I would be switching them out weekly.

We still don't have one like Icon made (adjusted for the newer lights of course). Would have bet money it would have been here by 2022.

I agree, I thought for sure someone would make an actual metal/aluminum grill by now. I’m holding out.

at the very least I’d like to see the “Ford” grille in the same font and color as the current “Bronco” grille.

I agree, the 6 large openings on BB/OBX grille that exposes hardware behind it looks bad. It’s better with the aftermarket mesh inserts.

Badlands/Wildtrak is the most modern desgn with the new brick pattern of the small slots, and with the more flush surface almost like a body panel instead of a recessed grille. I think that modern design might look the best of the OEM grilles without “FORD” or “BRONCO” letters. The odd thing is the silver-gray paint used for Badlands is lighter than all the carbon-black plastic. It doesn’t match anything. The gloss black used for Wildtrak at least matches the gloss black on Sasquatch wheels and the piano black mirror caps like you said.

Would be very cool, but people like to sell lots of plastic parts that easily break and have to be replaced rather than metal ones that can be fixed.

That way, manufacturers, retailers, auto body shops and insurance companies all make money and we go broke.

I'd be curious about the peculiar attraction to the 3 amber lights in the grill. I don't quite get that one.
The 3 lights in the pick up grille started with the Raptor and are an ICC regulation for vehicles over 80 inches.

Hence Braptor/ Raptors that are over 80" wide. (not including mirrors)
