Wow this is good to see.
I've heard the speculation that the cause of the problems were a bad batch of valves. However if that's the case, I would assume that there would also be engines that blow with higher mileage, no?
I don't see how if the valves are bad why some would be ok and others not. I would think they're all bad and it's just a matter of when...
Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not so worried about a failure as I have the extended warranty, I'm worried about a failure in a really bad place like off road without cell service or on vacation far away.
I still wish Ford would do a recall and just fix the problem if there is an identifiable one.
