I’d like to be able to roll the windows up, with either device…

Same. Especially if rain clouds roll in and the Bronco is at the far end of a parking lot. I'm guessing Ford's legal team would never sign off on the potential liability of somebody injuring their kids accidentally.

You can, you just need to do it with Forscan. I have both open all windows and close all windows from my FOB
Again with the Forscan. šŸ˜› I’m so not a computer guy, and this stuff always gives me pause, but it sounds inevitable that I’m going to have to read up on it and figure it out. Bleh.

It's worth it! The best advice I can give you is to MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANYTHING.

I’m not either, but I have learned a lot from this site. With all the help we get on here, I’ve been able to do shit that I never would have dreamed of even attempting. The Forscan stuff is incredibly easy if you just follow the instructions from the threads on here. Also, there’s a thread about scriptable widgets, and in that thread, there are links that take all the work out of creating shortcuts to make Siri give commands to your car without opening the ford pass app.

When I tell people what I’ve done, they assume I’m tech savvy, but all I’ve done is ride the coattails of some of the very helpful b6g members.

Totally worth it. I’m so glad I finally worked up the nerve to try it. My bronco is so nice and quiet now without all the chimes and warnings. Getting rid of auto start/stop was huge, and I can’t complain about getting that last goat mode for free. After having done it, I feel stupid for ever being afraid to use forscan.
