Just offering 33s on OBX would help. Pricing is pushing people to Wildtrak. I've had some that OBX is what they want, but switch to Badlands to get 33s, then see they can get Wildtrak for the same money. If 33s were optional on OBX they'd order that.
Is there no chance this will happen? (I assume not) just can’t decide between SAS OBX or non SAS OBX (and adding 33s aftermarket). I don’t really need the SAS to be quite honest. Considered switching to badlands just for the 33s but not sure I need all that entails as well and just prefer the OBX. Badlands 33s on my OBX build would be perfect

I think it's safe to say it will not happen for 21. 22, maybe, but even then it could be fuel economy reasons that make the 33s a no go on other trims.

I have a time stamp of 7/13 8:05PM EST, the dealer seems to think I’ll get mine relatively early even though I have 2.7, SAS, Leather..etc in my build.

Personally I set a expectation of August for delivery, so anything before will be a cherry on top. Later and I’ll be reallllly anxious.

I have to assume they’ll run out of SAS parts first.
You are at the front of the line so of course you're going to get yours without delay. If delivery is in June that's when you'll get yours. I'm personally expecting my early am 7/14, Sasquatch/2.7 build around end of July or maybe early August.

Again, I have BIG concerns about Sasquatch, looks like demand is 52% here (and ours at the dealership is about 60%).

Car companies have to get fuel economy targets CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy). Granted they can do like Chrysler and by Teslas credits (and Mach E should be helping Ford), but I still see a limit on what Ford will want to build with bad fuel economy versions.

For those doubting what the Sasquatch will do for mileage, look at the reports coming out on the Ranger Tremor, they're reporting that it drops from 20/24 on a standard Ranger to 19/19 on a Tremor, and this is just with 32" tires (by my math Standard Lariat Ranger 265/60R18 are a 30.5"). Granted there is some loss to the small lift and skid plate vs bumper spoiler on standard Ranger, but this will hold true on Sasquatch as well.

I really hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not many here will need to prepare for big wait times, even those with first night reservations like me.

If Ford has to limit the percentage of Sasquatched Broncos because of cafe standards and not just parts availability...that's a major problem. It seems the take rate is so high on Sasquatch, that I would worry about even getting a MY22 if cafe does become a factor in how many they will build with Sas.

Where have you heard these "rumors"
Here of course. Specifically that Ford plans to initially to only build 4 door units.

What does that mean if it is true?

I have no idea. First month? first 20,000 units? What about 2door FEs? I have no idea.

I read most of what's on here and I hadn't seen that rumor. I know the 2-door is on the "potential delay" list but nothing about 4-doors only at first. Guess we can only wait and see...

I think people are getting commodity issues and delay due to production not starting mixed up.

Think of it like being in a checkout at walmart.

Delay due to production not happening would be like Mansquatch, they're not being made so you can't move up. It would be like you're in a checkout line with no one at the register so you're just standing there.

Now commodity controls (which may delay your delivery, but not everyone's) will be different. Think of this as being in a checkout line with a slow cashier at the register, its going to take longer than the shorter/faster line next to you. Now you could get rid of a few items and got to the 9 items or less Express checkout and get through quicker or in the Broncos case drop the 2.7 and Sasquatch (or 2 door, or whatever commodities become a problem) from your order.

Now if you were first in line in the longer line, doesn't really make much of a difference, but further back you get the more its going to matter, difference will continue to grow each month as scheduling goes on. This is assuming people are going to wait it out and not drop the options that are keeping their order from scheduling. It's my opinion they will, at least for a while, after they get skipped for a few months, then I think some may decide to give up options (or give up entirely).

Its also my opinion that many here think just being first day means they're that guy at the front of the line, but based on what I've seen there are too many first day people to think that way, I think first 24 hour reservations just means your in the front 1/2 of the line, but not the front.

Exactly, probably won't have any more concrete information until May when they release delivery dates.
