That doesn't look right to me. Not sure if something could have caused it or if it's a factory defect, but I'm leaning toward defect.

Mines a hard top, and I've only had the front panels off. I don't know if it looks like that or not, but it I hope not.

Oh, looks like the soft top rubs there and causes it. Seems to be fairly common. Here's another thread about it.
