So got my new bronco badlands and doing a few things to it and noticed this in the back area and have no idea what it’s for….something to do with a soft top?

your rear glass defroster cables plug into that when you take the top off

Rear glass defroster and rear windshield washer cable. You plug them in there when you remove the top.

Ford added it for those having to take soft top when the hard tops got recalled. It’s called a hard top prep kit (w/prep kit) on your window sticker next to soft top.
