Agreed, "Consider weather display a 1st world problem"... But if I'm paying for it I'd like it to work. However he stated he is using this for Tornado SA...honestly this is the last system I would use for such critical weather reporting information. Your phone and just plain terrestrial radio (NOAA weather alerts) are much more timey.

Agreed, a Scanner, GRMS radio or even CB can provide good information. The radar app mentioned earlier is a great option to, I liked the radar screen in the weather screen, but it is fluff in many ways. I'm a ludite in many ways as well, I'd be happier with a more mechanical, less electronic vehicle. The tech is neat but comes at a cost that many are unaware of.

I don't know about your state but here if they see you driving with a cell phone in your hand you get pulled over. It's against the law.
I have checked all the settings and everything is paid up so I'm still in a quandary about what's going on. I went to my Ford App and checked everything is as it should be as well as myford accnt on the web. I guess I will try the reset you mentioned.

I did do all of that to no avail, but I think i may have narrowed it down to my Garmin Dash Cam interfering with my cell phone and taking control of it. Today I turned the Garmin off and the weather came back on. Now I went into Garmin and shut down the cell phone link and the weather still works. Time will tell.
