Delivered but still chomping at the bit to install. Also bought the tonneau cover, I am hoping the strap on the back side of the Havoc cover will work with the tonneau cover. Hoping span of warm weather arrives soon.

Is right, you would probably need the solid canvas top, not the mesh. They are many options.

Something to keep in mind here for those who have never driven a topless vehicle like ours (or a Jeep) in moderate-heavy rain:
It blows IN from the back as well. A lot of it.
An impromptu cab cover will spare you from the downpour above, but like someone else said above, be prepared above about 25mph to have it come back in from behind you and soak you, the dash, and the inside of the windshield.
Fun fact- the infotainment goes nuts as well. Presets choosing themselves, stations changing, entering config menus at will.

I usually don’t have the entire soft top removed when I look at the forecast and see any chance of the crazy Illinois weather flipping and flopping. Last summer I went from mid August I think all the way to October with the top completely removed -lucked out.

This won't work for everyone but is my solution using the Havoc top. I keep the two front hard top panels on and roll up back half of the havoc top so that I can easily roll it out to cover the back if it starts raining. Don't recommend it if you have passengers back there but keeps it protected enough and the front stays perfectly dry.

I bought the Havoc too but for the 4 door...and just in case i am away without tops. We take the two front pieces with us but not the middle or back parts. While I haven't installed ours yet I was hoping I could roll it up to the back seats kind of like you did. I also bought the tonneau cover to protect the very back. So I will just have two sides where the mic top windows would be and right behind the seats open for sideways rain. Are you saying that with the 2 door and just the Havoc, the water comes flying up yo the dash from the back? Do you suppose a 4 door will reach the dash from behind the rear seats too?

Which tonneau cover did you get, ideally I would use one also. The front two seats stay perfectly dry, especially when driving. If you are parked and have a crazy wind driven rain you can get a little water on the seats and center console but all the important parts stay protected.

I am not sure which one it 8s, I bought it used off of a web site. I just need to replace the velcro part that goes on the vehicle. I do believe it has two straps that hook onto the rear tailgate to hold down the back. Our Bronco is black so you won't really see the straps (plus it is only if it rains). Once I get it installed I hope to post a Pic and an update as to how well it works in conjunction with the Havoc's straps.

We installed it (and tonneau cover) one time and drove around with it. The Havoc top was quite noisy at 50 mph. It didn't rain. We took it off and keep it in the back of the vehicle just in case we are out somewhere without the hard top and it starts to rain. However, for Bronco Invasion we decided to take off the hardtop and put on the soft top. The soft top has been on ever since. My wife loves just flipping up the first part of the soft top. Anyway, winter is getting closer and hard top is going back on soon. Here is only pic with Havoc and tonneau...FWIW she LOVES the look with the Havoc and tonneau.

I used some of the hardware that came with the top, you can see it highlighted at location (1) in the attached image. You can wrap the strap on the top around this and tighten it down pretty well. At the back, location (2) I have rails from my roof rack that I left on and can latch it to. You could probably rig something similar without this full piece. Once I tighten those locations down it doesn't flap very much.
