Upgrade sound system on Bronco Outer Banks

Hi,

Just got my Bronco Outer banks a month ago but was very disappointed with the basic sound system in the car, so i ordered a set of speakers from Amazon.I ordered 6 Kicker Ks series speakers and had them installed last week but unfortunately the sound is still the same. I wanted to order the JBL soundbar from our Ford AD but they said it will cost around USD 1,100 and fixing it will cost another USD 390. So was thinking of ordering the Kicker Hideaway HS 10 instead because its cheaper and might even give a better sound quality since it has a builtin AMP.

Any advise?

I installed kicker 4 inch up front and in the rear and it vastly improved the sound over stock. My fronts had 300mhz bass blockers added onto them. Maybe you hooked something up wrong since you said you found no difference? There are a few threads already started with everyone being very happy with replacing at least those 4 speakers with aftermarket ones.

Yeah, I wonder if you have the polarity correct. If you just get one wrong it won't sound great.

Yeah, thats what i thought. Maybe the technician didnt do the wiring right. I will have to check them myself then and see if there is a difference. Thanks

Read the whole thread below. Base system even with soundbar still sux. Base system sux. Only way to make it sound good will be amp/sub/speaker upgrade. Don’t know if anyone has found a professional shop but with new electronics I wouldn’t tackle this myself.
