Hello! My Bronco hopped on a rail car last Monday, the 17th. I was (rail) tracking it along the way as it was making its way to Texas, until it had a “bad order” in Iowa yesterday. Ok, a broken rail car, great.
This morning the CSX message said it was “released by the customer” at about 5am in Iowa. Strange! From my research, that usually means it’s on a truck. Surely not from Iowa to Texas.
I asked my contact at the dealership to check to see what he sees on his end, and he sent me a screenshot of his screen that says “conveyance mechanical failure (Burlington Northern Railroad).” He said he’s never seen that before and doesn’t know what it means.
Does anyone know how to reconcile what the CSX automated message said with what the dealership said?
Thanks!
