I just installed and received the Ultimate9 evcX throttle controller and haven’t seen very much on the forum about it, so I wanted to share my impressions so far on the 2.3L manual Badlands.
Product:

For those unfamiliar, this is a device that plugs in-line to the pedal assembly to modify the electronic throttle signal to the ECU. It does not modify any of the ECU configuration, is not a tune, and does not make more power. It just modifies throttle response.
Before purchase, I had a couple of questions and reached out to the company using the phone number on the website. I received thorough responses almost instantly.
Once the device arrived, I was really impressed with the packaging and the multiple thorough start guides, one for the installation and device itself, one for the app since this device is able to connect via Bluetooth and be controlled from your phone. Installation took less than a minute.
After getting it out on the road, it became apparent it absolutely makes a huge difference in pedal feel and overall driving experience. There are multiple modes and multiple configurable sensitivities, which I am still dialing in. The most extreme modes are awesome but a bit much for every day daily driver duty. It will take some time to figure out the ideal settings.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I was also looking at the Pedal Commander, but I am very happy with my choice, especially for the price of $249 shipped vs the Pedal Commander at $299.
