Swapped Rock Slides for OEM running boards

Swapped my sliders for the OEM running boards, but now have this ugly gap. Is there a piece of trim or something to cover it?

The best fix I've seen for this is spray paint it black, cheap and doesn't hold moisture.

I recently replaced my OEM steps with DV8 steps/slider combos. They are more heavy duty to take on some rocks, sit up 2" higher than the OEM steps, and cover the pinch weld area too
