Hi Folks,

I'm debating on LUX vs High and want to understand the stereo differences.

Are the stereo headunits different between the LUX and non-LUX? (If so, I assume the LUX stereo head unit would produce a better sound).

Is the only difference in stereos packages, between the LUX and non-LUX, the speakers?

. . . along those lines it would also be great to see pictures of the backs (or wherever connections are) of either or both units, or references to diagrams or any actual manu. doc that might exist.

I'd assume they are close to identical. I know the high package does not include the HD radio tuner chip.

That's what I was afraid of :(

Some of the only half-decent radio stations around here are sub-channels on HD stations either rebroadcasting low power stations or entirely different formats. Guess if I downgrade from Lux I'll be 100% streaming on the road.

Spotify is your friend. Any quality audio source makes for great sound (even out of the base speakers).

I don't know if this is part of the head unit or something different, but lux includes built-in navigation, where for me and my high package, I added built-in navigation separately.
