Soft Top Tension Cable Broke

The other day I was driving along and noticed the sound in the Bronco was louder than usual. I looked over my right shoulder to see the top flap open on the freeway for a second. When I got out and inspected the top, I found the tension cable for the front half of the passenger side had broken. Anyone have any insight to fix this? I don't want to have the dealer do it.

Quick fix for them? Mine just broke and I leave to drive on vacation in 3 days

After they were able to figure out the right cable, yes. Had to bring the bronco in 4 times over that year for it to finally be the right one.

Dealer told me it wasn't covered under warranty for me. Not sure why

I think originally Ford was telling my dealer the same thing but I was their FedEx guy so I saw them everyday and bought from them so we have a good relationship so I think they fought for Ford to replace it.
