Soft top quarter panel windows very difficult to install and remove.

I have a 22 Outer Banks that I purchased originally with a hardtop bought a soft top off of someone new on a pallet. Just got around to installing it. The side windows are very difficult to install the front piece where the soft top pivots appears to be off slightly to the rest of the convertible frame when I remove or install the side windows the tracks shave off pieces of the plastic tracks every time. Any guidance help or suggestions would be appreciated thanks. I have a pic of the track and a pic of the shaving I am getting from the window track.

I posted a mod on here some time ago. Make a wedged piece of plastic that you place under the front(short track to align it with rear track. I’ll repost if I can find it

It is a bit offset by design. It takes practice. The more you do it, the easier it becomes.
