Anybodys sasquatch tires getting extremely loud? Mine are at 23k miles and man they are the noisiest tires I've ever had. Everyone that rides along comments on it now.
They are a hybrid AT/MT tire—they will get noisy as they age. Rotating them and keeping them at correct tire pressures will help. But it's normal for all-terrain—and especially mud-terrain—tires to get noisy as they age.
Off-road tires will often have a center strip/rib down the middle of the tire tread that the vehicle rests on while on pavement under street pressures. That strip is designed to lower the tire noise, improve fuel economy, increases on-road comfort, etc. As that strip down the middle wears down more of the side tread make contact with the road, and those side treads are typically designed almost entirely for off-road traction.
At 23,000 miles you're probably past the half-way point for those tires. I'd expect them to reach 35,000 to 40,000 depend how hard you are on them.
40,000Km on my Goodyears... I rotate them (5 wheel) every 10k
Sound as good as new... No worse.
I did/do have an out of round, wub-wub noise that I brought up to my dealer...
They rebalanced them with a road force balancer. 1 tire was at "the limit" and was replaced, another was 10X worse than the best two, and wasn't replaced... But can still be heard.
No vibrations at all though.
Doing a 5 wheel rotation is pretty easy... And you only need 1 wheel in the air at a time
It's not really bad until about 70mph then they are extremely obnoxious even with hardtop and let's not even get into all the stuff they pick up. They are horrible tires and were a poor choice.
