Can someone tell me what this is called and where I can get one? I'm missing this on the other side. I've searched everywhere on the forums, and I don't even know what to call it. My top is rubbing through my paint on the other side. Thanks in advance.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Can buy it in big rolls or pre-cut stickers. That particular piece I'm not sure where to find it pre-cut at, but it's just a clear vinyl sticker.

If you are missing the PPF strip, Ford should replace it at no cost, even if the vehicle is beyond 3 year warranty. You need to work with the dealer and Ford's warranty department on that; generally speaking, they realize a missing part is a missing part.

YOU would have to take care of the paint damage before the clear PPF is applied. Trying a color match PPF is going to be near impossible.

A local automotive paint shop could whip up a color match spray can based on your VIN or the paint number on the door. That is not a hard self-fix, just takes some time and materials. Taping off to the PPF pattern is the key to minimize the color shade difference. Lots of YouTube videos to help with that.

Hope you get the fix you are looking for.

If you take it to the dealer you should do the TSB for the swing gate too while it’s in there. It has the same issue and they’ll put PPF on the top edge of it. I just had it done on mine
