Rough Country 3rd Brake light extension problem

I have a 4 door Wildtrak that I put 37's on. I purchased the Rough County 3rd Brake Light Extension so I could fit the 37 inch spare tire on, and the holes don't line up. The customer service associate had me send him a picture of the spare tire mount that shows the mounting holes in opposite positions. He said that mine don't match what they tested, and that I could drill new holes...no thank you. Anyone else have this problem? Any other solutions? Please help!!

My guess is that the holes are different on the Bronco to account for stock tire differences between base and SAS. RC only had a non-SAS for development, so they were not aware that there were different hole patterns for SAS (and maybe others). The 4WP bracket looks the same as RC.

Perhaps you can mount it upside-down? Logo will be hidden anyway.

Those are the original holes, taking out the need and benefit of the extension bracket.
