After two unanswered emails to RekGen, I need to turn to you guys.... My Big Bend Mansquatch is arriving in the next few weeks and I still need mud flaps. I've seen a little bit of info on other posts regarding mud flap lengths, but nothing definitive. So, here are my questions:
1. How much longer are the XL flaps than the Standard Flaps?
2. If I go with the XL flaps and think they look a little too long, can the bottom be trimmed, or can I mod them and mount them higher?
3. The Standard flaps look too short in the front but adequate in the back. Do I go with XL fronts and standard back?
I would greatly appreciate everyone's input on this. I want to get these ordered ASAP. I ordered the RokBlokz and have them sitting here in a box, but with all of the reviews I've seen, I'd rather not screw with them at all.
I'm trying to find a balance between looks and function. Obviously the longer the flap, the more functional it will be, that being said, this Bronco is going to be on the pavement 90% of the time and spend very little time in the mud.
