Recommended speed with soft down (1st position)

Does anyone have a recommended speed with the soft top down in the first position, and are the straps recommended for non off road driving?

Never seen a speed limit attached to any soft top position, but I’ve hit the speed limiter on mine and it’s fine . IMO straps only help for all the way down, while on uneven ground for squeaks, and even then aren’t a cure all.

I've gone +70mph in first position - no straps - it's just fine. Aerodynamics keep it down...it's not going anywhere...

I think if you keep it below 180 you should be good.

Highway driving with soft top down is fine. We strap our soft top down in first position when we off road (once) but i don't even think it was that necessary unless you're going over a lot of bumps at rapid speed. The top doesn't really move at all.
