I was lucky enough to be the recipient of some Rough Country ditch lights for my Bronco.

I was actually given 4 of them and some Rigid mounts to allow mounting of two per side.

My original idea was to split them between 2 AUX circuits with the left being on one switch and the right on the other.

But I am concerned about the power draw these have. According to RC they are 75W each or 150W for the pair.

I don't think I have a need for the 30A circuit for anything else, but I do have Diode Dynamics driving lights I'm going to installing in my BAMF bumper when it arrives.

Am I correct in thinking the 10A circuits are insufficient for these? How marginal would the 15A circuit be?

Should I retain the relay and fuses that come with them and use the AUX switch in place of the supplied switch and then use the 10A circuits with piece of mind?

Finally, these are supposed to throw off 13K lumens per pair. 4 seems a bit excessive. Thoughts?

Thanks for any help I am very new to all of this.

10amp will not be enough if they are in fact 150W per pair. 150W/12V=12.5amps.
15 amp is what you need, but AUX2 is the only 15 amp switch, so if you have 2 pairs of 150 watt lights, you will have to use AUX1 and AUX2, or but both pairs on AUX1.
Are these lights LED? 150W seems really high.
Unless I am reading this wrong, and its 150W for all 4 lights, so 75W per pair?

75 watts/12volts = 6.25A
150 watts/12 volts = 12.5A

A normal high-beam from a headlight is 1200 lumens. So those lights are 10x brighter. They do have a 140° beam width, so 2 per pillar is likely overkill and won't actually spread your light beam out any more than it already will be with appropriate placement. You could always temp wire them and hold one in place at night and turn it on to verify for yourself.

I like this idea a lot! Thanks
