I ordered my bronco big bend 4dr non-sas 2.7L on 3/27. It is still in production (5/24). I called ford to see if there was a time estimate (theres not) but while on the phone, the agent gave me a certificate number for a private transition in the amount of $2300. When i pick up my bronco, do I just give my dealer this code and get $2300 off? Not sure why I would've gotten this.

Did you order cloth seats and now you are upgraded to MGV because of the cloth seat shortage? That is what I would think maybe happened. The price certificate is to offset the cost of the seats

So that's also one more confusing part of my order. In theory it should be MGV but my window sticker still reflects cloth interior (but the tracker indicates it is MGV.) Also I don't believe the MGV is $2300.

Your best bet is to probably just call your dealer and see what would've cause you to get a discount. Pretty exciting news regardless for you though

Agreed, speak to your dealer in advance so they can locate the certificate, verify with Ford and be able to apply it to your purchase. I'm having to do the same; however mine expires 7/5/23 and if not extended, I lose it, (Bronco slated to arrive between 7/19 - 7/29). Have heard there is a good chance it will be extended again as, (at least my Private Offer Program), has been extended multiple times... I'm curious as I ordered my OBX with the leather option and same day my order was placed, the leather became standard on OBX, thought Ford would just add cost to new order OBX base price, but have read here that does not seem to be the case (at least for some members). My window sticker still shows upcharge for leather seating and was thinking perhaps that's why I got a Private Offer...but you never know.

I got the same. Ordered 3/27. When I called Ford to check on the status, they said I had a certificate from Ford and gave me the certificate number. I sent it to my salesman who entered it into my account. Not sure why I got it either since I’m getting exactly what I ordered. Badlands 2.7 sas and lux package

Since you ordered on 3/27 for a 2023, you won't be able to use the "Transitions Private Offer," unfortunately. I received one, too, and confirmed with my dealer and Ford Customer Service that it cannot be used if the order was placed for a 2023. Such a bummer :-(

That’s so odd since Ford is the one that gave it to me and said I can use it. Will see when i go pickup the bronco because that’s the reason I didn’t cancel the order and lease a Jeep 4xe

That is not correct. Ford marketing told me it doesn’t matter why it is there. If it’s in your account for whatever reason, your dealer can apply it. The dealer doesn’t have to honor it but should because it isn’t any sweat off their back. They get reimbursed by FMC for any rebates or offers they honor for customers. If they don’t honor it, it makes the dealer look really bad. Marketing told me they don’t know why a bunch of 3/27 non reservation holders are getting this transitional offer since it wasn’t a MY Transition, but said to tell dealer to honor it anyway. Good luck all!

Ok, I will try again, but here is exactly what he told me via email last week, "That certificate won't apply to your Bronco as it is transition money that is to be used if you had a 20,21, or 22 Bronco on order that got switched to a 23 and got built in order to offset the increased cost of the 23 model year."

Not sure what to believe at this point... Very confusing and frustrating... Even the Ford Customer Service rep confirmed the same when I called to double check / corroborate what my dealer was telling me...

Yea seems like Ford dealers and FMC are never on the same page. Hopefully it works out for you and I’ll let you know if it does for me too. I’m in the same boat as you and will be trying to get dealer to apply it.

I should know soon! My Bronco switched to "Built" yesterday... I'm guessing it'll be here sometime late next week...

Same for me! Mine was scheduled for 6/8 with 6/8 blend date. 6/9 went into production and now 6/26 built date on tracker. Just got the built email today. Should be shipping soon and truck convoyed to VA. Good luck! Hope delivery and pick up process for you and I go smoothly.

I wouldn’t give a dealer the code up front to check anything. If it’s a shady dealer which most are. They will give you some reason they can’t use it. But happily use the code for reimbursement when you drive off. I would hound Ford for the answer and present the dealer the discount amount and reason at the table and bottom line reflects the amount. Only then provide the code. Poker.
