I swapped the plastic bumper to modular and plastic “bash plate” to metal.
One BIG heads up! The tow hooks on my 2021 that are under the plastic bumper (and bolted to the frame) are the brackets for the “bash plate” to bolt to. Well the “hook” (or hoop) part stick out too far and the modular bumper can’t be installed with these in place. Because you’ll need them as a bracket you’ll have to cut off the “hoop” park of the tow hook.
With the “hoops” cut off I was able to remount them to the frame and then mount the metal bash plate to them.
The modular hardware, when ordered from the factory, uses a different bracket. The person I bought the bumper from had to reuse that hardware for his aftermarket setup.
Just a heads up!
