Peeling headliner on Bronco with 5 miles

Just got my Base Bronco delivered earlier today and went to pick it up. While getting the dealer to honor price protection was one whole ordeal (they gave me the private offer rebate, but made me eat the additional $2,500 price increase unfortunately) - sometime after my test drive and before driving it home the entire shell headliner peeled off. Glue completely melted. This thing had 5 miles on it after my test drive.

Looks like I'm leaving it at the dealership over the weekend to get reapplied. Great QC Ford.

If you don’t want to have the dealer deal with it, you can get some automotive adhesive spray and just tack it back up. I would bet it was a fairly hot day when this happened. They either didn’t let the glue tack up before adhering the piece to the top or used to little glue. Just my opinion.

I figure it's best to just let them deal with it since it's so new.
Definitely a hot day out, but it's still frustrating.

There have been a couple guys with soft tops that have had a similar issue. Dealer should get it to stay put, they got the soft top guys done. I agree about the frustrating part, hope they remedy it.

Mine did this today(85 degrees), it was a really small section, not nearly as bad as yours. I was able to get mine to stick back down and stay (for now :/). I’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure. Please update after you deal with the dealership. Good luck man.
