Just need to process out loud and listen in to other's opinions, which I am free to reject without notice!

Most important thing to know, I'm 60th percentile, so very late 21....IF production hits Legend's #"s, maybe a year. If Ford's, a year and a half.

So that said, are both the factory soft top and black mod tops late available?

I was ready to settle for the gray MIC and grab a black twill from Best Top later....but now I wonder if I shouldn't grab the black mod, which would look sharper, but the cost on that is pretty healthy. Or just get the factory softtop...? (Yeah, I know it wouldn't be wired, but I don't care.) And then would I want a hardtop for winter later???....

So confused.

If you definitely want a soft top then I would go MIC and soft. You get it plumbed without the work of doing it yourself (and you get the parts) and you also get the MIC and soft top.

I’m getting the dual mod/soft top as I wanted the mod top and can’t beat the deal on the additional $600 for the soft top. Will use it 1/2 the year.

Great point. For 2500, I get both. That's darned near what Best Top charges for 1!! So while it's not a Best Top....the math makes more sense.....

I ordered the Shadow Black mod top. It's that or I'm passing on the Bronco. One of the Ford insiders states they are expected by September.

Is it $600 for the 2 door? It's $1,100 difference for the 4 door.

I'm still going MIC and adding the SofTop later. I would get dual tops (probably a better deal), but the stock top just doesn't look very good to me...for one, there hasn't been a single one that didn't have wrinkled windows. They all do. New Jeep tops don't (SofTop), and I think I prefer the fastback anyway on a 4 door. Either way, I need the truck plumbed for a hard top regardless, and MIC is the cheapest way to get that...then I can read reviews and see what looks the best before I pick an aftermarket SofTop.

No it is $1895 on the MOD top only and $2495 if you want both the MOD top and soft top. I was going to get the MOD top so it will only be $600 more to get both on the 4 door.

Thanks, all. I think I just needed to be talked into it... I was ready to spend 2k at bestop and 700 for mic. For less, I can have the mod and factory soft, which looks good as long as you take the windows out!
