Open MyQ Garage door with Sync + Smart Things + Android Auto

I know there is a way to have a toggle on the Sync Infotainment screen to allow you to open and close your MyQ garage door. I found it while browsing in the middle of the night a month ago but for the life of me can't find it now.

It was essentially a workaround using Smart Things on android auto which contained the MyQ lite? Anybody have any further information on this? It would be really cool to open the door without a physical remote.
