Off-Road Drive Event

While I could have used a few more laps around the course, I really had a blast at the invitation-only Off-Road Event near Olympia today. The people running the event were awesome. They had a few Broncos available to poke around in, and several different types to drive. They did a greta job getting me into a Bronco very close to the one I'm waiting for, (Badlands, 4-Dr, Lux, Manual Trans). The instructor that rode along with me taught me a bunch about the nuances of the MT and the Badlands. It was law-dropping easy to drive through the mud, snow and slop at the off-road park. They let me hang around and take a lot of photos after my drive, and everyone was incredibly accommodating and honest when answering my questions. I could have stayed there all day. I was signed up for an early session this morning but a last minute change at work this week caused me to cancel the other day. I was kind bummed. It looks like it was a good time!

I received an email invitation a few weeks ago. They are doing these events every week, but I’m not sure the schedule.

Scheduled for tomorrow, looks like the weather will be rather moist, should make for a good time. Did the Off-Roadeo in LV so will be a nice contrast to the dry rock crawling we did there (awesome time, can't recommend doing it enough. Don't have 1st hand experience with the other sites but LV is probably the best)
