For what it’s worth, here’s some insight on the factory tires winter performance on my BD Sasquatch.
in a nutshell in heavy snow/slush. EXCELLENT!
By comparison my daily driver is an XC40 awd w Blizzaks-amazing setup and a very safe/secure feeling in wintery conditions
My prior setup was a Tacoma w factory TRD pro 17’s w Falken Wildpeak AT3W-had to be in 4h or the thing was just squirrelly. Had to be in 4h to get up my driveway. Even in 4h the Bronco manages slip in slippery conditions way better, feels way more confidence inspiring and composed. Night and day.
The Sasquatch tires are just fantastic in heavy snow, I’m very impressed.
My gf and I were over in Quebec two weeks ago and we passed a dozen wrecks on the 416 and 401…some were pretty bad. Whiteout and white knuckle driving for hours…We took our time but the tire setup was extremely effective, it held the Bronco perfectly through heavy snow pack, and the patches of icy pavement under the snow…
I like the winter performance so much that I’m going to take them off mid April, throw on Fifteen52 analog hds and maybe some Toyo’s and run them in warmer months, keeping the factory good year treads in top shape for winter.
