Morning, could use some advice. I am an August 2020 reservation holder and know I have extended my wait time, due to my selections. My nagging concern is if I am outside of my smaller dealership allocations. Unfortunately I cannot get answers regarding my place in line and solid explanation of my dealer's allocations. Best I can gather, is they maybe have 25-30 Bronco orders. I am told I am "around" 12th in line. When I check with them on scheduling weeks, I am being told they have either 0 or 1 being previewed and are averaging less than 1 a month. Based on this trend, I am looking at another 1-2 year wait. If a dealership is reading, below is the screen I received to show I am not previewing, anyone have an idea what this is saying?
Again, if my constraints are the whole reason I am still waiting, I get there are many others doing the same with earlier reservations, but if allocations is key issue, do I have any options?

Im the outlier, who's willing to order what I want and wait. But thats a card game, play your hand, have a beer, and maybe youll get lucky on Christmas, 2022. You have to have something to drive and be willing to wait a year for the vehicle you'll love. And right now, chips are the most pressing commodity, so who knows?

I think 12th in line is pretty good, at this point, changing dealers is a waste of time, IMO. Is there really a rush to get a beautiful, Green Bronco, just the way you want it?

Thats my perspective. Its worth waiting for.

Allocations trump everything else. If they are getting zero or one a month and you are 12th, with a similar build to the ones in front of you, couple years sounds like.

Ford feeds the big dealers who buy more vehicles from them.

As for advice? Wait, Quit, order from someplace else and cross your fingers, order from 10 other places and cross your fingers... take your pick.

Best bet is to find someone with a similar build who had no reservation, but got selected for a build quickly, then use their dealer for a new order.
