Hey everyone,
Glad to finally be able to join this forum after putting in a Bronco order this past March 27th.
Looking forward to talking to everybody about their rigs and projects they have going on. Excited to finally be a part of the Bronco community.
Getting right into it, I know the nightmare of Ford and the supply constraints. I’ve read my fair share of threads here on 6G and Bronco Nation over the years since the Bronco announcement, but thought I’d ask the community what they are currently seeing during this current build period.
I ordered a 2dr Black Diamond, Eruption Green, Automatic, 2.3L, w/Mid Package to avoid most of the constraints. When speaking with the dealer and ordering my Bronco, they stated that the only issue would be with the 2dr as Ford stated that “10% of MY23 builds will be 2drs.”
I see around the forum that people have started getting some of their orders scheduled but don’t really see any clear explanations as to what orders are being scheduled at the moment.
Are the currently scheduled vehicles only previous order holders? Only 4drs? Is Ford scheduling the highly constrained orders first or the easy build orders first? Has anyone who ordered on 3/27/23 gotten a schedule confirmation email? If so, what are your builds?
I know I’m in for the ride with how Ford has handled this order process since the announcement, but would appreciate any insight from some members of the community. My heads full of questions, so bear with me. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
