Hello forum,
Don't currently own a Bronco, but highly likely I may get one in the very near future. Currently, I drive a 2021 F-150 Lariat 4X4 SuperCrew with the 5.0. I have been fascinated with offroad SUVs or "jeeps" as we called them since a kid. Back in the early 2000's I really started liking the Jeep Wrangler. For a long time I didn't have enough money to buy the vehicle I wanted. When that time came, I was not happy with the direction Fiat-Chrysler and then Stellantis is headed. I got the F-150 in the meantime, but may or may not trade it in.
I have mostly leaned toward a Sahara. I guess the comparable Bronco model is the Outer Banks, but I really like what the Black Diamond is offering as well. We have two small children right now and potentially looking for another one. I will have to downsize our car seats as the F-150 barely fits 2 accross with an adult (or 3 accross) due to their size.
I am also tempted by the manual transmission as I know those are going away, but really want the 2.7 and have no complaints with the 10-speed automatic. No extreme offroading will be done and I really like the way 4A works on the F-150. I see going with that full-time 4wd option also has the possibility of a rear locker and the price is the same compared to the part-time 4wd.
