I think bubba rope is kind of the premium product. I'm a fan of Warn straps. Neither is a bad choice.

I don't have a wench yet, so I carry about 120' of recovery rope. It was a nice gift from my brother in law. He's a huge wheeler, and fabber. That should be enough to get me out of most, by myself or with a pull truck or snatch.
Wenches 'R Us? Wenches to go...? Maybe Amazon? LOL...sorry, couldn't pass it up.

I also read somewhere that if the rating is way beyond the weight of the vehicle, the kinetic intent of the rope may not be as effective. Just a thought
There is probably a relationship with length as well with the idea to be able to store energy. More questions than answers.

looking at kinetic recovery ropes and my eyes are beginning to cross.

Is a 7/8 inch rope rated at 28,000 pounds breaking point enough for a Bronco?
There are a few brands that claim Made in USA. What are some trusted brands?
