What's your experience with wind noise at 70+mph?

I wanted to do a decibel test before and after but didn't get to. From an "eyeball test" level it is muuuch better. It is a 2 layer top and each layer is thicker/more insulated than the OEM top. Waiting for my first road trip at 80+, but all signs point to "much better".

I’m scheduled to have one installed in the next couple of weeks. One of the first 5 of the new version in Southern California. But I’m told by the installation shop that it’s black, which I prefer - not gun metal and does NOT have a slant back - it has a square back, which I prefer. It reportedly does fold all the way down in the back for a clean look - much better than the OEM version, and the seal and double layering of the top are reported to be much quieter and stable than the OEM version. All to be determined. I have the hard top and hated dealing with removal and storage of the front and second row panels since the second row does not fit well in the back. I have the Bestop Skyrider, which I love for the convenience, but hate the look of the folded-back top sitting high above the rear portion of the hardtop. The MyTop is not cheap, but if it does what it says it does I’ll be thrilled. I hope it’s worth it. Will post pics and a review when it’s installed.

Hi Rob - short answer is that it’s amazing. Enhanced the entire experience of owning and driving the Bronco. So many times I wish I had the top off while driving but didn’t do it because it was such a hassle to take it off and then put it back on - whether it was the first and second roof panels or worse the entire rear top. I’ve heard similar complaints from soft top owners. With MyTop, it’s a simple button press to take it down or up. Fits and looks like it was made at the factory. Yes it was expensive but given the comparable cost of a hard top - I’d choose this option everyday. The side windows are a bit smaller than OEM, but the quality is far far better than the OEM - the top is lined for noise reduction that actually works, seals well, for low noise and no leaks. The switch is a rocker style installed on the center console and looks like factory installed. The top goes all the way down in the back and doesn’t sit on top of the truck like the Skyrider which I also purchased that looks hideous and is a major wind drag. I’ll post videos and pictures this weekend.

@Rory : The Mytop iis nice. As I have said before, it I did not purchase the Armadilo top, this would have been my choice.
