My take on the BYOD setup...

So, I'm using the 3D printed rail mount... And to that I added a 12" cheese plate with a Arca Swiss quick release (currently showing phone mount)... On the other side a Go2 action cam fork mount.
Probably will go with a Ram ball extention for the phone and keep this phone mount for vid recoding.
Maybe a Mini InReach device in the future...?

looks pretty neat and enough space for some essentials. I'll probably only ever mount a camera or two there, something like this size would be plenty. Looks pretty well designed with lots of mounting options.

The file is available to use here... I don't print, so I had the creator make and ship it to me... Mathew Garn I think his name is? He has a online store. The plate is an amazon part that I used instead of a picatinny
