I've never had issues on any of my trucks rocking Diode Dynamics lights. In fact, i've had 1 customer say the same about Morimoto but I was unable to duplicate that issue.

So it honestly comes down to a particular truck and how things are wired.

To date we've sold more lights on Broncos then anybody and I can tell you we've only had ONE CUSTMOER ever reach out to us about an issue (the customer with the Morimoto 4Bangers on his pillars)
Cool.. that folks got lucky. Mostly guessing you don't have many folks trying to operate ham radio and Diode lights at the same time.

Using the same exact wiring (and plugs) i did some troubleshooting with a set of Rigids and had zero issues with those.

Denial doesn't make it not a thing

Well that's not exactly a problem with the lights, you're operating a HAM radio. That's not exactly something OEM.

This is what I do for a living and if people had issues with interference I would not be in the business of selling lights I'd be selling something else.

I bet if you step on the accelerator your ham radio makes weird sounds also...

Just turn off your lights when using your HAM... Seems like a non-issue.

Then he'll never catch the rabbit if he can't see!

Do they still do that @V1Rotate ??

Where someone plays the rabbit and the hounds have to chase the rabbit down

(that means, one guy hides in his vehicle somewhere in town and gives clues to his location and other ham radio folks try and find him and you "catch" the rabbit)

Fox Hunting it's called in some places.

It's a lot of fun

Negative.. my radio has zero interference or noise period until you try and use diodes non shielded lights. Not sure what you're insinuating but the radio is properly installed and very well grounded.. dead silent and 0 interference with everything in the vehicle on and hard on the gas until you try and use the lights. So yeah.. it's a problem with the lights. As i mentioned above the rigids I swapped in for a back to back test don't cause the issue.

Your lights aren't OEM either so not sure what your point was with that comparison but several other companies (specifically Rigid) have done actual homework to make sure it's not a problem. Shame cause the DD's generally look the best IMO.

The internet is full of similar examples but I'm sure they're just anomaly or user error.

My entire point was to just bring it to the attention of a perspective buyer at the risk of poo-pooing on your buddy's lights.

There's a good solution.. haha

My point was to just raise awareness.. per usual we'll get a lot of DD fanboys in here saying they're perfect.. and that's fine. I own a crap ton of them myself and really find that to be the only major issue. Non-issue to some, big deal to others. Just spreading the word

I went with the back lit rigid lights. I have the center light as a fog road legal light. The other two lights on both sides are not DOT approved and for off-road use. I wired the center fog light into my standard light switch. SPV was the company I used for my harnesses. They were great to work with.
