Be there less than 10 days! So excited!
Any tips for drone shots you wanted but didn’t get? Plan on getting a lot of drone footage if possible.

I just bought my drone 2 days before I went so i didn’t know really what i was doing. Theres a setting on mine that will allow it to follow you and I wish I would have done that up some of the bigger hills.

My big advice would be pick your Bronco as soon as you walk out side and stand by it. It’s a free for all when they say select your Bronco.

We did the Texas Off Rodeo this weekend and it was the same way! EDIT: Especially if you are getting a 2 door and you want to drive one! There were 12 Broncos in our group and only two 2 doors.

The guide told me that they were all 2.7s. My biggest bummer was that most didn't have the front facing camera. I really could've used it on that trail.

So I just got back from Moab (rodeo was on Wednesday).

Had a great time but one side of me was a little disappointed. I don't know if this is the norm or just happened to be that day, but I thought the Rodeo was going to be a bit more interactive and teaching.

But for us, basically they spent a little bit of time talking, then we hoped into our Broncos (I got the one I wanted..4 door WT) and hit the trail.

You were basically on your own and just followed the leader. There were only like 2 spots (actually the same spot, but once coming and once going) where the instructor got out and spotted folks. Otherwise you just did your thing. If you have guest, again, you just did your thing, swapped drivers whenever.

What they did do was have pre-arranged spots where he would get on the radio and say something like ... We are coming up to a spot where you might want to use feature X...and then he'd explain a bit on how it worked.

So basically, (assuming it was the norm) if you are going to LEARN about off roading, I kind of say it was a bust. However if you are going to drive a Bronco, and do some Moab off roading (eg EXPERIENCE off roading), then it was hands down awesome.

For example, afterwards I was reading something and they were supposed to do a recovery demo/Lesson. They never did it..instead we just drove trails for like 6-7 hours with little to no interference/input from the instructor.
