Well that sucks if true...so if someone opts for the 2.2k leather upgrade, they are not only being shortchanged because it's not ALL leather, but the Vinyl is not the MGV?

Talk about being taken to the cleaners. I figured for that price you would be getting the creme of the crop.
Yes , if you notice when you select the leather trimmed option in the details it just states vinyl , not MGV . You can also look at the 360° view of the interior and see that it is not the MGV.

If you get the 2 dr you are especially getting the shaft as you don't even get the power seats that the 4dr gets for the same $2100 price tag !

I'd definitely get MGV in my Wildtrak, but since that's not an option I'll be getting the leather

If you really want them that bad, why not just build up the BL? They are almost the same end price and the only thing you have to give up is the fog lights and head liner (if you wanted it).

I've tossed it around alot myself, but keep coming back to not liking the all dark interior of the BL.... Ironic, but if they offered a lighter interior in BL, I would have to rethink my WT for sure.

Oh.. one more thing? Why would BL come with Baja mode? It's standard with the 2.3... not very Baja-ish.
I thought about a BL but I want the appearance of a WT. Also, I feel that swapping out the seats on a WT is a cheaper alternative than swapping the top, grille, mirrors, black bronco emblem, graphics, and I don't want the factory rock rails on a BL. The black trim on the WT compliments my exterior color choice flawlessly. I also think that the orange accents on the interior of the BL seats will compliment the sandstone trim in the WT. I agree with you that BL should have had Sport mode instead of Baja. As the BL is marketed as a rock crawler it gets the exclusive rock crawl mode. WT is marketed as a desert runner so it should have had Baja mode exclusively. Both Drive on the tarmac so both should have had Sport mode. I think that 90% of the BL reservation holders would have preferred Sport Mode. Just my two pennies.
