Lower Rocker Cover from Ford Easy Install

It's unclear as to why Ford deletes the lower rocker cover. I assume it was because I had step rails.

The part for both sides was $222 from LEVITTOWN FORD PARTS. The covers are molded plastic and adhere via the 3M strips provided.

Curious as to why you do not like the Bushwacker Rocker Covers? I purchased the Trail Armor Rocker Panels and I question if they will become a complete water trap as the top side, held on with 3M Sticky Tape does not wrap into the door sill. As a result any water running down the door will run into this groove if the tape ever loosens.

Am I missing something?

The ford version cover only the pinch weld. The version straight from bushwacker come up into the door sills which I do not like. Just personal preference I guess.
