I had the same questions, the frameless doors are awesome but if I have 4 people in my rig having the back empty to stash the doors in doesn't seam likely.

I have never had an issue as long as you go past where non off roaders can go, stash your stuff where it isn't noticeable from the trail. In this part of the country most off roaders are armed, that tends to make people think twice about running of with other peoples stuff.

Good point. I prefer disbursed camping to the state and federal campsites

Lots of people do. However, in our neck of the woods it has been getting really out of control and last summer they had started attempting to crack down on pretty much all road accessible disbursed camping. It seems to be a losing battle with their limited resources though. Sometimes within minutes of them shooing someone off somewhere they aren't allowed to camp a new group shows up and starts unloading.
