Here’s a photo of the Kuat Pivot 2.0 and my old Thule bike rack. It seems very solid - I’m about to find out next week when I go on my desert adventure. There is less than one inch of clearance between the Pivot and my 35 inch spare so if you’re running 37’s the Pivot is not a solution for you. There are more pics on my “build journal”.

Thanks for sharing this, I just did the same thing on mine today. Using the pivot 2.0 and a Yakima rack. Works really well.

Does your Kuat Pivot 2 block any of the backup sensors when bike rack is not installed?

i.e., if I leave the Kuat pivot on my bronco and drive around and back up and get the beep.
