Hey Guys,
I just got a 2D BL and was about to order a Uniden R3 radar detector and was going to buy the converter to plug it into windshield USB. I just read that when people hook up their radar detectors to that center windshield USB, that the radar stays on for at least 30 minutes after the Bronco is powered off. Is there anyway to change that?
I have seen a thread/video about mounting up near the mirror and do not care for that option as much, but would rather go with that than to need to power on/off radar all the time. It is nice to have something where you can push a button and slide the radar detector out of the mount and throw it into console and lock it for when doors and top are off and it is nice, but I do not want to be messing with the radar detector power or removal all the time.
