Pictures look great.
Pretty sure we went at the same time. Unless some other couple who drove up from Jersey also had the yellow Bronco and camped at Gunstock. Didn't get many photos as I was enjoying driving too much, but I did end up with a few small seconds of video of you guys spotting one another and was able to grab a decent photo from it.

That’s awesome! Thank you for the pic! What a great day that was. Rausch Creek is about two hours from me - need to hit that up next!

I am planning my visit there in August. Any helpful tips or recommendations for our stay?

We camped out in the Bronco and the campground at Gunstock was great. We walked from the camp site to the start of the Off Roadeo. Campground has bathrooms, showers and a general store. Our campsite had a fire pit and a picnic table.
There are hotels around too but can’t comment on those.

Looks and sounds awesome! We were thinking of camping as well. Did you venture off the mountain at all? Any cool spots in town? Thanks again!

We hung out at the mountain the whole time - didn’t venture out. Lots of hiking trails and beautiful scenery. We did hit Tree House Brewing on the way up and way home though. Highly recommend.

I did the NH Off Rodeo in Gunstock 2 years ago with my wife. It was an amazing experience, we will always remember it as one of our best times. We stayed at a little cabin not too far away.

Fun indeed.
Rausch and AoAA are both a little over an hour from me. I would definitely be interested in going. They do monthly guide trail ride which I think may be my next step. Hank, one of the trail guides from Off-Roadeo, told me about the MidAtlantic Early Bronco and their event next weekend. I've been debating making the trip there.

Anyway... keep me in mind. Maybe we can meet up sometime. My current list of people I know who off road is zero.

I'll add my two cents as well.

I stayed at the Gunstock Inn & Suites. Which was about three minutes from the Off-Roadeo Basecamp. It was nice. Clean rooms and attentive staff. Lots of the rooms have balconies, mine did not as I chose one if the inner rooms. Strictly out of going for the cheapest option. The place had plenty of comfortable common spaces as well as many outdoor chairs with gas fire pits and an amazing view of the surrounding mountains.

My trip up from Pennsylvania was great. Stopped at Frank Pepe's for some pizza in New Haven on my way. Beyond the Bronco event, I did venture out some. I found FunSpot which was a 15 minute drive or so. Lots of old retro arcade games, which are all still a quarter. Stopped at Weir's Beach on the way back to the hotel. It was the eve of bike week so a lot of tent setting up but it was a beautiful spot to walk around.

Friday was a whole day at the Off-Roadeo. Started registering around 730 and didn't get back to dinner at Basecamp til after 5. Where there was a pretty nice dinner and some music. I had thought about heading out but after the very fun day of driving all over the mountain I showered and called it an early night.

Took the long way home and went North to Mount Washington. Drove the auto road which was just as scary as it was exciting. Not much of a view at the top due to weather but I kinda liked that my trip top included 40mph winds and lots of rain.

Would love to plan a meet up at Rausch. Will hit you up.
