So my delivery date is showing as Dec 6th-12th but has not shipped. Dealer says it was expected to ship Monday but did not arrive and appeared to be held at MAP for some reason. I just chatted with Ford Performance and was told it has been fully released and is only waiting on shipping. FP Chat said he "expected" it to go by rail based on the dealer location and that if it does and hasn't shipped yet, he would expect the date to move- but the window sticker says "CONVOY".

Curious if the window sticker shipping method is always accurate or if that can change? I had an opportunity to lock in last month at 3.49% for 72 months but due to the horror storied of dirt mountain decided to wait and that appears to have bitten me straight in the A as that same bank is now at 4.49%. With the fed raising rates once again next week, I'd really like to not get screwed again but I have no idea what to expect at this point. Between paying 20k more in interest and the ADM I agreed to in March, it looks more and more like I am just awaiting the pickup of someone else's car.

Side note- blend date was 11/22- they really are churning these out quick!

I don't want to get your hopes up, but mine was built 11/1/22, and I checked the tracker several times a day to be told it was waiting shipment. Then, on 11/10/22, got a call from my sales guy that it arrived. The tracker still showed that it wasn't shipped until 2 or 3 days after it arrived, then it updated to "At the dealer". So good luck, I hope you get the surprise call I did! ;)

Thanks! That's part of my concern. expecting a call out of the blue telling me the car is ready and then I have to go find decent financing before I can pick it up.

If I lock in now to avoid the rate hike next week, I'm sure the car will be delayed for months 🙄

That's what happened to me. It was actually the worst day for it to arrive for me, as my wife had just flown to FL to be with her mom for a few days and help with some final cleanup from Ian, so I had a 2yo and 4yo plus work to juggle. The best I could do was sit in it on Friday the 11th, then waited until Monday the 14th to secure financing, and my wife came home that day, and I picked up my Bronco on Tuesday the 15th. My dealer was awesome, parked it around back, and it had 3.5 miles when it arrived and 3.7 when I drove of the lot so they weren't letting people test drive other than the tech that had to take it around the block for PDI. The real fun part is that they let me take it with a dealer tag and only 1 key, because I didn't have the check to pay for it yet, and the credit union sent it priority mail, where I could track it until the status changed to basically "we don't know where it is but it will get there eventually" when it had previously been scheduled to be delivered to the dealer Monday the 21st. Tuesday the 22nd, my sales guy was off, so I started to really stress that the USPS had lost the check, but my sales guy called me shortly after he got in the next day and said it arrived, so I went and got my other key, everything out of my jeep, and ordered floor liners with my ford points, and looked at the box for the tube doors but it was too big and heavy, so once my liners came in one of the parts guys who lived out my way brought my doors and floor liners to my house in his f150 on his way home.

It was probably the wildest ride I ever had taking delivery of a vehicle!
