Wait till the dirt sticks to it if you think it looks bad now. Surface rust is a non issue. You will still get that even with fluid film.
Surface rust is a non issue? Tell that to 2010-2014 F150 owners who are missing their cab corners and rockers from rust. look at every Ram driving around in the rust belt too. Best thing ford ever did was make those pieces out of aluminum and plastic. All of it starts from the inside. They are steel on the bronco. Also no amount of washing with save inner structures like these from corrosion. Salt gets places you can't at the car wash. At the end of the day, this really only affects you if you plan on keeping your vehicle. Also helps resale in 5 years when the underside still looks new.

UPDATE:
Initially I decided not to bother with the quality as it seems pretty standard for that type of product. But then I opened the tailgate to find this 😒

fluid film will creep and spread several inches, just use microfiber and wipe any areas you find on paint

Did you get Fluid Film or Woolwax applied to your Bronco? Or was it the rubberized undercoating? The picture of the overspray on the tailgate kinda looks like it was the rubberized.

@robsafari Just get a can of this. I use it to remove Zeibart Undercoating overspray after they do the yearly touchups. Works fantastic

Not quite sure why people are concerned with what the underside of their truck looks like after having this application to protect against corrosion? In Cleveland they salt the shit out of the roads and it destroys vehicles and i plan on hanging on to this thing for a very long time. Why do I care that it looks like someone snotted on the underside of my truck? My applicator did the inside of my doors, the back hatch, rockers crash bars etc. I was thrilled with the job and don't care about the spooge under my truck. I'm the only one under there wrenching on stuff and it doesn't bother me. Well worth the minor investment.

I agree, I don’t care what the underside of my Bronco looks like if I can use something to make it last longer. Unless you live in this environment and see 4-5 year old trucks rustling out, you will do anything to make it last. This is a huge investment and I plan on using Fluid Film black tinted. The guy we have that does this has a lot of experience and his truck looks amazing after 4 years driving in Upstate NY conditions.
